Lord No Cheat v3.00p - LORD utility update notes
By Donald Tidmore -- donald.tidmore@usa.net -- June 25, 2002
============================================================

Utility set-up briefly on a Pentium III 933 Mhz system,
running MS Windows Millenium Edition successfully. Usage notes:

In un-patched form, utility is NOT usable at 933 Mhz due to
RTE200 problem. Author, Jesse Cates, did not provide Email or
Internet info. Has not shown up on Fidonet LORD echo in past
year. Usability of old postal mail address unknown.

Both Pent2.exe and Tppatch.exe failed to make utility usable
during my primary utility testing phase in early 2002. I tried
the ctbppat.exe program on the utility this morning, and it
worked.

Files Patched: With exception of Lrdnocht.exe, the exe files
had the Divisor modified to work on a Pentium III CPU. Main
utility program's Delay routine patched, to eliminate source
of Runtime Error 200.

No problems seen in trying out patched files, other than that
it is difficult to read some configuration screen material due
to usage of -- to me wacky - screen colors.

Not used in actual LORD game play. Have no need for program
myself, as I play alone and at my own speed. Will leave it to
friend to test usefulness of this RTE200 patch archive.

Nothing in program docs forbids a person from fixing a problem,
such as RTE200 in this case, and distributing it. I do NOT
assume support for the program or claim authorship of it.
And nothing was done to the program's shareware registration
operation, or to the original documentation files. File_id.diz
file revised briefly. End of notes. Donald.
