#title(WtrConf System Configuration Menu)
This is the System Configuration Menu where you can change settings
that relate to WaterGate itself. Use the up and down arrow keys to
select one of the menu options, then press the enter key to select.

Each section contains settings related to a certain part of WaterGate.

FTN means FidoNet Technology Network and contains all settings for
that processing side. The Internet standards are called RFCs, so all
Internet side related settings are under RFC settings. The gateway
sits between the FTN and RFC side and does the translations between
the formats.

Message bases are always on the FTN side and the settings section
contains amongst others the WaterGate system areas for netmail,
dupes and bad messages.

#title(Save System Configuration Menu)
Select Yes to save the changes you have made or No to keep the
settings stored on disk.

This question can come up even if you have not made any change:
When the System Path is empty, WtrConf fills in the path where
it found or created the WTRCFG.TDB file. This field is emptied
(and this filled in again) when you start WtrConf with the
IGNORE_SYSTEMDIR command line argument.
