Microbytes Affected by Earthquake

The earthquake in Northern California will disrupt the flow of
BBX news and information for the next few days.

Most of the BIX/BYTE Microbytes staff were in San Francisco
meeting with area computer industry manufacturers when the
earthquake struck. No BIX or BYTE employees are known to have
been injured as a result of the jolt.

The staff in the San Francisco office has been freed to attend to
family concerns as well as to honor restrictions on nonessential
travel imposed by local emergency authorities. Members of the
Costa Mesa, CA, Peterborough, NH, and New York City offices are
currently stranded by travel snarls and stymied by the chaos of
unreliable telephone and electrical service.

We hope to resume a normal flow of news and information as soon
as possible. Your understanding is appreciated.
