Commax Technologues has introduced its first 486-based system.
The Excell 486-25 is a 25-MHz system with a baby-AT footprint,
8K-bytes of cache memeory, a math coprocessor, and 4 or 8
megabytes of on-board RAM. It comes in either a standard AT or
a tower case with a 220-watt power supply. The 486-25 also has a
1.2 or 1.44-megabyte floppy drive; six 16- and two 8-bit
expansion slots are included.
 
The Excell 386-33C is a 33-MHz 386 with 32 Kbytes of cache
memory. It's also available as a standard AT or a tower system.
It comes with one 32-, five 16-, and two 8-bit expansion slots.
It also has a 220-watt power supply and sockets for optional math
coprocessors.
 
The Excell LT-386SX is a 13-pound 16-MHz 32-bit laptop that comes
with 2 megabytes of RAM expandable to 4 with zero wait states. It
comes with a 40-megabyte hard drive, a 3.5-inch 1.44-megabyte
floppy drive, and two serial and one parallel port.
 
The screen is a 10-inch blue on white CGA/EGA LCD with a
resolution of 640 by 400. You can add an additional monitor or
an internal modem.
